Heart Of Darkness

Heart of darkness (1902) is one of the best-known works of Polish-born English novelist and adventurer Josheph Conrad (1857-1924) The novel is besed on conrad's own tripo to the congo river in 1890. It is a masterpiece which the story of Marlow's journey into the Congo exposes the clashes, exploitation and barbarity between European and African societies during 19th century colonial expansionism.
