Milan-based architect and product designer Michele De Lucchi is known internationally for his chairs and lighting. Part of the Memphis group of the early 1980s, with Ettore Sottsass, De Lucchi has also had successes with designs for such international manufacturers as Artemide, Olivetti, and Vitra.
