Sandstone walls, a slope of winter trees, a hedgehog's quills, and the veins of a leaf become striking abstract patterns in Fuhrmann's lens, while views of California poppies, a polar bear family, a dramatic Icelandic waterfall, and the stares of several owls testify to her lifelong love of wild creatures and places.
