Dr. Göktuğ ŞAHİN’s main motivation for preparing this book is to contribute to the methodical studies about natural gas economics and the sector from an economist’s point of view. Natural gas is one of the most extensively benefited but also imported type of energy sources in Turkey. Besides, Turkey’s long-term natural gas contracts will start to expire in the coming period.
