“We are a group of cultural anthropologists from different countries who came together with theidea of writing and describing wedding traditions of our own culture in a book every part of whichdescribes one wedding tradition. Marriage in one’s own culture has very routine traditions for most, but these can be interesting and surprising for some others. In that way, the reader can understand the “weird” traditions of others. We wrote a book which we wanted to enjoy reading.
